Waimz is a brand and product owned and operated by Humainz, Inc. (“Humainz™”).

This Privacy Policy describes how Humainz, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) — the company that owns and operates the Waimz™ app and brand — collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information in connection with our services, including the Waimz mobile application, the Waimz website (waimz.com), and any other features, content, communities, places, or events we provide (collectively, the “Services”).
1. Scope and Applicability
This Privacy Policy applies to all individuals who access or use our Services, regardless of geographic location. It governs the treatment of personal data across web, mobile, and event-based environments operated by Humainz, Inc. under the Waimz brand. If any Service includes separate privacy terms, such terms will prevail in the event of conflict.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, date of birth, authentication credentials.
- Profile Details: Bio, photos, interests, pronouns, gender identity, sexual orientation, relationship and connection intent (dating, friendship, community), and other data you choose to input.
- Social Login Data: If you use a Single Sign-On method (such as Apple or Google), we receive profile elements authorized by you.
- Transactional Information: Subscription or purchase history, billing details.
- Communications: Any correspondence or feedback you send to us.
- User Content: Media, messages, and text shared via your account or during interactions.
Some of the profile details above (such as sexual orientation, gender identity, and pronouns) may be considered sensitive personal information. You choose whether to provide this information, and we process it to operate core matching, community, and discovery features. You can edit or remove it at any time in your settings.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: Actions performed, screens viewed, features used, timestamps.
- Device Information: Device type, OS, IP address, browser version, mobile identifiers.
- Location Data: If permission is granted, we collect device-based geolocation to power proximity, Radar, matching, and places/venue discovery features. You control location sharing and can use features such as hiding your distance.
2.3 Information From Third Parties
- Authentication Providers: Data shared by your chosen SSO provider per your consent.
- Analytics & Marketing Partners: De-identified or aggregated insights to improve performance and outreach.
2.4 SMS and Text Messaging
When you provide your phone number and consent to receive text messages from Waimz (a brand of Humainz, Inc.), you agree to receive service-related messages, including account verification, security alerts, and notifications. Message frequency varies based on your activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or contact support@humainz.com.
3. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing
- To provide and maintain the Services, including matching, communities, places discovery, and chat (Performance of contract)
- To personalize your experience (Legitimate interest)
- To process payments and subscriptions (Performance of contract)
- To improve features and conduct analytics (Legitimate interest)
- To operate trust & safety, prevent misuse, and secure the platform (Legitimate interest / Legal obligation)

- To conduct marketing and surveys (Consent)
- To process sensitive profile information (such as orientation or gender identity) where you have provided it (Explicit consent)
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
4.1 With Other Users
Your profile and activity may be visible to others through in-app discovery, matching, Radar, communities, chats, or events, depending on your visibility settings. You remain in control of who can see you, including features such as incognito/ghost mode, hiding your distance, and discreet app mode.
4.2 With Service Providers
We engage vetted third-party vendors for hosting, analytics, email delivery, customer support, identity and age verification, and payment processing.
4.3 With Advertising and Marketing Partners
We may share hashed or pseudonymized identifiers with ad platforms to optimize targeting and measure performance. We do not sell or trade raw personal data, and we do not share sensitive profile attributes (such as orientation or gender identity) with advertising partners.
4.4 For Legal and Compliance Purposes
- In response to valid legal processes or regulatory obligations
- To investigate violations of our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
- To protect the safety and rights of users or third parties
4.5 In Connection With Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or reorganization, data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4.6 Mobile Information
Humainz, Inc. will not share, sell, or distribute any mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in information collected through the Waimz platform with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information may only be shared with service providers (such as SMS delivery partners) strictly for the purpose of delivering the requested service.
5. Data Retention
- Active accounts: data retained for service continuity
- Inactive accounts: deleted after 24 months of non-use
- Payment and tax data: retained for 10 years in accordance with accounting regulations
- Abuse or fraud reports: retained as long as reasonably required to ensure integrity and security

6. International Transfers
As part of our global operations, your data may be stored or processed in jurisdictions that may not provide the same level of data protection as your country of residence. In such cases, we implement safeguards such as contractual commitments and encryption protocols.

9. Age Restriction and Children's Privacy
Waimz is intended exclusively for individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete the data promptly and terminate the associated account.
Prohibited Content
Waimz (a brand of Humainz, Inc.) strictly prohibits the publication, promotion, distribution, or facilitation of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM/CSAE) in any form. Any user found to be engaging in such activity will face immediate account termination and will be reported to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and local law enforcement agencies.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any material changes will be communicated via the app or website prior to taking effect. The “Last Updated” date at the top indicates when the policy was last revised.
